ZoidPay — The Journey from 2018 till Today and Onwards

A journey of innovation, achievements and many mistakes from which we gained valuable lessons.

Firstly, thank you for your support, trust and patience! This letter to the community is long overdue, but coming from a place of 24/7 work, dedication and passion into building ZoidPay as the FinTech powerhouse we know it can be.

We’ve done many mistakes along the way, from being too optimistic estimating the deliverables. You are right, we could’ve done things 10x better. But all of these came from enthusiasm and dedication, simply put, after 5 years we’re even more excited and experienced than when we started.

Starting a traditional business and becoming an entrepreneur is hard, starting a WEB3 company is borderline impossible and you have many unknown variables that you need to tackle. On top of that, maintaining transparency is crucial, with the support of a community backing you every step of the way.

We’ve done our review, analyzed all of our decisions and the way we communicated and now we’re adjusting everything to as it should be. This is not a process that can be done instantly, and even though you were more than supportive, it still takes time and trust from both sides.

As always our promise is to deliver and work tirelessly.

At times, our strategies didn’t follow the expected course, and when they did, we were bound by non-disclosure agreements, preventing us from openly sharing our achievements with you, our valued community. We’re changing that as we speak, to build a standard for WEB3 companies to come.

You were right, we were wrong on how to tackle everything that’s happening. This is not a letter to offer justifications, but rather to recognize the opportunity for substantial improvement on all fronts — product, marketing, communication, and transparency.

We know what we can achieve as a team, we know the value of our products and now, pushing like never before to launch and show the world what ZoidPay is all about.

Each journey has ups and downs but we hope to still have your confidence and to have you along with us for the ride!

Let’s dive a bit into the transparency pool:

1. GEM Capital — we didn’t do any drawdowns, no ZPAYs were sold to them for financing (from a business perspective considering the price, it doesn’t make sense).
2. F1 — discussions started in March ’22, negotiated the terms, discussed about WEB3 strategy but unfortunately we weren‘t ready with the product for that amount of commitment needed. It is still on the table but waiting for a better context, one in which ZoidPay app is already launched and used by users from multiple chains.
3. Team/Company selling ZPAY — to be perfectly honest with you, it would’ve been much healthier for us as a company and as a team to sell during April ’22 when we got to the ATH ($1.82). Not only we didn’t sell but we bought more tokens, all the way down.
4. Funding Issues — of course we had, like any company does. Me, as CEO I’ve put all the funds I have into the company because I truly believe that what we’re building will impact WEB3, crypto users and totally change how FinTech’s operate.

Now, I’ll deep dive into 2023 achievements and status and then will go back in history to showcase what we’ve built along the way

Our SuperApp is a mobile application that bridges the features of a FinTech banking application with blockchain and crypto. The ZoidPay SuperApp enables users to get access to multi currency IBANs and cards while allowing them to create or import a non-custodial crypto wallet for multiple blockchains. Packing all these services together creates an environment where you are not only capable of handling SEPA transfers, topping up your card and using it daily, but also manage your blockchain and crypto assets securely and non-custodially.

Our staking platform enables users to stake ZPAY tokens, NFTs in Shopping Pools while our staking farms allow users to stake our Liquidity Pool token ZPAYWEGLD. This platform is powered by complex smart contracts which also enable users to withdraw their tokens and NFTs and earn yield for the duration of their stakes.

Occasionally, we are open to increase the number of Shopping Pools on our Staking Platform. In order to do this, our Shopping Pools Auction Platform enables users to participate in bidding for a shopping pool. The minimum amount of any Shopping Pool starts at 100.000 ZPAY and during the auction, the users can bid more in order to get theirs. With every auction, the number of pools available is limited (e.g. only 5 Shopping Pools available for auction in October 2023. During this auction we have received bids from 16 users totalling 3.907.533 ZPAY tokens. The 5 winners secured a total of 1.700.946 ZPAY tokens in our Staking Platform through their Shopping Pools).

NFT Collections

The Zoidsters NFT Collection is the first collection we launched in June 2022 and features 1001 NFTs. Each Zoidster offers specific benefits such as earning free ZPAY tokens or APY boosts for Shopping Pool and Farm stakes. The whole collection was sold out in under 2 minutes which eventually lead to a total trading volume of ~9200 EGLD token and the most expensive Zoidster was sold for 28035 ZPAY tokens at the equivalent of ~$3925 in July 2022.

We are maintaining and developing the utility of the Zoidsters Collection by adding new benefits to each new phase and they will play a role in terms of additional benefits in the ZoidPay SuperApp and ZoidCore.

In 2023, we partnered with OneLife Rally and one of the components of our partnership has been the launch of their 555 NFTs collection. We have put together all the experience and knowledge we gained with the Zoidsters collection and the OneLife Rally collection was sold out in under 30 minutes at an average price per NFT of 6300 ZPAY.

The OneLife Rally NFTs have a similar utility with the Zoidsters Collection in terms of APY boosts and the OneLife Rally team has offered additional benefits such as offering car rides and merch during their live events.

2022 Development / 2022 Launched — Chrome Extension

The ZoidPay Chrome extension that enables users access to offramp services and a virtual card — purchase anything from anywhere with your crypto.

A crypto liquidity solution that had the following Key Performance Metrics:

• over 200k euro worth of transactions
• over 1.1k transactions
• 180 euro average transaction amount
• 600 active users

Limited use platform used for company vesting operations

Bridge TOMO-Elrond

Bridge for ZPAY token between TOMO and Elrond networks, done with the purpose of migrating. This will be the one used for cross-chain scaling.

2022 Launched — ZoidPay Wallet (iOS & Android app)

A mobile wallet application that opened a lot of opportunities for our user who owned the ZPAY TOMO token

2018 Idea / 2019 Developed — Payment & Privacy Protocols on ETH Network

1. Privacy Protocol

We have developed a unique way of assuring our users privacy and also data security allowing them to be fully in control of their personal information.

The way we do this is by creating a token for each user that onboards the platform. The newly created token is governed by smart contracts that manage the user input data and structure it into specific clusters.

These clusters are automatically created and managed by the smart contracts that govern the whole core.

These clusters are structured as following:

1. KYC/AML Clusters that register basic data and validate the users as real persons
2. Interests Clusters that register user interests and preferences
3. Dynamic Clusters that add extra interests to each user depending on their platform behavior
4. Targeting Clusters/Activation Clusters that register all the queries from sellers to every Interest Cluster (sellers initially want to target users with specific interests)
5. Pro Clusters that registers all the users with good dynamics and interactions in a specific Interest Cluster
6. Terminate Clusters that registers every time a user deletes their data and makes sure all of the clusters existent to its specific token are terminated
7. Transactional Clusters that register a unique code assigned to a specific token in order to register data in the other clusters — it is a unique feature to every token created (each user has its own unique code) — works like a universal barcode that registers data into the clusters

2. Payment Protocol

Every action on the blockchain is recorded as a transaction. Through the payment protocol, we will be able to monetise every action that happens through our platform and open a new stream of revenue.

The way it works is that we gather multiple transactions into clusters based on specific, predefined traits and then validate them on the blockchain as one transaction.

This allows us to drive down the costs of making a transaction, increase the speed at which it is validated, as well as generating revenue from the transaction fees.

• Contactless card with a smart chip that is paired with the mobile wallet app through NFC. It allows users to make peer-to-peer card transactions or make purchases from merchants.

• A user-friendly mobile app, once installed it allows any NFC device to become a POS. This is the core of the Zoid Ecosystem as everything we develop can be accessed from here.

B2B Services

Blockchain Card

• Contactless + smartchip card, connected to a wallet that allows you to make payments with cryptocurrency. Fully branded with in-house production (China).

ZoidPay Wallet / POS

• Multicurrency, non-custodial blockchain wallet that can be installed on any android POS or NFC enabled android device.

Request API

• API that allows merchants to create cryptocurrency payment requests.

POS as a Service

• Any NFC-enabled device can become a POS and accept payments with cryptocurrency via NFC, as well as QR Payments through the ZoidPay app.
